Mundanity rocks

Great achievements are made up of very mundane parts. Simple, but not easy.

For example, going to the park with your family and friends: Everyone is healthy enough. Everyone has the time. Everyone gets along well enough. Everyone has enough money to get by.

Building a website business: Researching and coming up with articles. Checking to see if they are doing well. Modifying them to keep them doing well.

Building a language game: Coming up with the dialog. Implement it. New interface part needed. Build it. Character looks too ugly. Find a better animation sprite and change it. To an outsider, all this looks terribly boring.

Amazingly, it's not even easy to reach the level that you can do the mundane. You got to have your basics sorted out. Your country must not be in war. There exists the foundations of a basic civilisation.

Unintuitive as it sounds, you have to push through to achieve the mundane. You have to do it even when you don't feel like doing it so that the wheel keeps turning and eventually the momentum itself brings you forward. And when it comes, stay aboard, hang on for dear life and steer.
